Mission Statement

Petra Ministry exists to raise a community of committed saints, who are role models and change agents in all areas of life through the principles of the word of God in bringing the lost to the saving knowledge of Christ.

Core Values

Intercession

Seen as our primary responsibility for the local church, our
immediate community, city, nation, missions, the body of Christ and pressing
global issues.

Evangelism

Is our response to the great commission, and as such, mobilizing
every member to be a soul winner, training and equipping them with necessary
materials and tools to reach out.

Discipleship

This is done as our means of transforming all members to be like our
Lord Jesus Christ, and it is pursued through scholastic Bible studies, retreats and
leadership training

The Word of God

Worship to the Lord is expressed first through contemporary music of both
African and Western origin. Worship is also expressed through our offerings and
sacrificial giving to the Lord

Worship

This is our final arbiter in all that we do.

Family

This is the bedrock of all our relationship with God and with our immediate
society, extra attention is given that every family represented reflects a model
home to the society at large.

Welfare

The welfare of every member and the rejected ones in the society is one sacred
expectation of the Lord from us.
